MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR 2007 – 0006

Subject  : MEMBERSHIP MATTERS

This is to remind all Regional Governors and Chapter Officers on the important Membership matters in order to properly serve our members.

For your reference and guidance.

1.  SOLE MEMBERSHIP

The Institute allows registration of only one (1) Membership Grade. A member who possesses more than one (1) PRC License shall register that which of higher grade level.

2.  UPGRADE OF MEMBERSHIP FROM LIFE RME TO LIFE REE

Life Registered Master Electrician (RME) Members who intends to upgrade LIFE MEMBERSHIP TO REE must inform the National Office in writing for the intent to upgrade Life Membership, with an attachment of all pertinent documents:  (1) New Membership Form, (2) Photocopy of PRC ID Card, and (3) Php 100.00 payment for the New ID Card.

3.  TERMS OF PAYMENT ON INSTALLMENT BASIS

In consideration to members, the Institute allows payment of registration fee on installment basis.

LIFE RME                               Php 1,200 downpayment
                                           Php 2,800 (payable within six months)

LIFE REE                                Php 1,500 downpayment
                                           Php 3,500 (payable within six months)

Please take note however, that when a member fails to pay the remaining balance within six months, his/her membership will be converted to REGULAR RME or REGULAR REE for three (3) years.

IIEE Membership Card will be furnished upon full payment of Membership Fee.
